Violinist Maite Larburu (Hernani) and viola da gambist-contrabassist Josh Cheatham (Seattle) are specialized in Early Music. But neighbor is not a duo that performs XVIIth-XVIIIth century music. Leaving the classical music making tradition aside for this time, and with the help of the guitar and the voice, Josh and Maite have ventured themselves to write and give out their own songs.

They live in the same neighborhood, in Amsterdam.
